This piece reflects my personal shadow work journey. Coined by Carl Jung, the “shadow self” represents the unconcious aspects of one’s identity that are supressed, rejected, or hidden from themselves or others. Through the process of exploring, accepting, and integrating the shadow, this piece captures a moment of gaining a more complete and compassionate sense of self.
